Sometimes there’s nothing better than a good, hearty, meaty sandwich. Delicious thick slices of bakery (or home baked if you’re feeling fancy) bread, stuffed with cheese, slices from our Norfolk bronze turkeys, and cranberry – all grilled to a melted mess of perfection. Gosh, we’re getting hungry here just thinking about it!
You’ll find that it’s often easy to forget just how delicious a well made sandwich is as you’re most likely always chasing the newest and most ambitious recipes that you can find. We know we’re definitely that way.
But sometimes, there’s just really no need for the headaches of creating a Michelin style meal when you’re just feeling a little peckish around the house. And that’s when the perfect, tasty sandwich comes right into play!
With the perfect selection of ingredients and flavours, used together to create the ULTIMATE sandwich, you’ll find this is simply a no frills and no fuss meal that hits the spot every time.
2 slices of thick, bakery bread
4 slices of brie
A handful of pre-cooked turkey meat
(Yes, we really are about to give you the recipe for a sandwich)
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one of your slices, butter side down, onto a griddle pan.
- Lay two pieces of brie onto your bread and top with turkey (as much as you can balance on!) and top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Place your remaining slice of bread on top with the buttered side up.
- Cook for approx. 4 minutes, or until your cheese has begun to melt. At this point, carefully flip your sandwich over, reduce the heat to medium and cook for a few more minutes until your cheeses is molten and your bread golden.
- Remove your sandwich from the pan, slice in half and enjoy!
