Well weve been busy this end catching up ready for the big rush at Christmas. The Norfolk Black turkeys have caused a few headaches as they keep wanting to go up to roost on the roof of the turkey shed, that would be fine it it wasn’t for the fact we have a polytunnel roof and there claws have punctured the roof in a few places !
With all the wet weather we have been keeping the bronze turkeys well strawed down and the electric fences in tip top condition to keep freddie fox at bay.
Next week we are attending the BBC Good Food show in London to showcase our Christmas turkeys and tell people how we rear our birds, so if you are going to the show please come along for a chat, stand PV60.
