What’s the right Christmas meat for you and your family?

With so much choice at Christmas, what type of bird should you go for?

It’s no surprise that we’re massive fans of turkeys at Morton’s Traditional Taste, which is the reason our award-winning turkeys get the reception that they do.

If you’re unsure what turkey to go for as the centrepiece of your Christmas meal this year, or you’re looking to try out a completely different bird, then take a look below to help you decide on exactly what get for your christmas turkey order.

We’re also giving away a FREE curry kit with all orders, so now you can make those leftovers into something just as delicious as the Christmas dinner!

Norfolk Bronze

A favourite of many, our free-range Norfolk Bronzes have a sweet, delicious flavour, producing generous quantities of white and dark meat that stays moist and succulent. Being one of our most popular Turkeys that we sell, you really can’t go wrong with this one.

Norfolk Black
The Norfolk Black is delicious hot and cold. It has a slightly stronger flavour – just how turkeys used to taste! These highly-prized birds are available in limited quantities, so ensure you order early to avoid disappointment.

Our Norfolk free-range goose has been the traditional taste of Christmas since Victorian times. Then as now, our free-range goose is allowed to range on pastures during the day for a happy bird that yields flavoursome, rich meat.

Better than free-range chicken – large, slow-growing birds with plenty of flavour and lots of meat. This is how chicken used to taste, before intensive farming introduced inferior breeds.

Turkey Breast Joint
If you can’t manage a whole bird try one of our breast joints. Conveniently cut and rolled from our bronze birds for a tasty alternative. We recommend you allow 250g per person.

Christmas dinner isn’t complete without delicious accompaniments. From succulent smoked salmon to our salty free-range pigs in blankets – make it a feast to remember!
